I think the box is on route to me for binding. Michael sent me a PM that the french purflings are enroute as well. As soon as everything gets here I will begin working on getting it bound and off to the next person. I will let you know when it arrives. |

Oh brother, nope, not enroute, and don't bother re-reading all the posts. It's on hold until real life lets me get to my shop. That was the point of explaining what happened Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and now today. Monday I had to make some money and was working elsewhere and here it is Noon Monday with me playing mechanic to a 01 Lesabre door window. Anyone know the trick to putting that glass through the tiny hole when it's so great big and goes in the channels? The forty bucks they charge is looking better. Sorry fellas. Get a bigger hammer. No, just kidding, he did say it was a PITA to get it in the door. A forty dollar PITA. Gee I hope I don't mess this up. BD |

Okay folks, I gave up on the bigger hammer figuring the 110 window deserved a 40 labor charge. Rather than me calling and saying, err... could you order me another window, this one seems to have come from together to part. I drove down to the glass place to find all had fled to body shops unknown to put in of all things, glass. So, I did too. The young man at the body shop showed me the "trick" and loaned me a screwdriver. I handed him a "get out of a guitar jam free" card and headed home. I know the secret too now. Hit my paypal account with forty bucks and I'll tell you what it is. Grin. Okay, I can go work on that Gift Guitar now! I heard that whip crackin' in the cool spring air.... |
